Look Up to Him. He’ll Look Out for You.

Look up to Him.

He’ll look out for you.

Raise your gaze.

Fix your focus.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭2‬, ESV)

“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬, NLT‬‬)

“fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews,‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

We can ALWAYS look up to Him

because He is ALWAYS looking out for us.

“He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.” (Psalm‬ ‭121‬:‭3,‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.” (2 Chronicles,‬ ‭16‬:‭9a‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”(Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭8,‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

So, take heart…

Don’t be discouraged by what you SEE in the world.

Be encouraged by what God SAYS in His Word.

Feelings are fickle, but He is faithful.

His promises are true.

He is still on the throne.

He will finish the work.

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus

Look full in his wonderful face

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim

In the light of his glory and grace

O soul are you weary and troubled

No light in the darkness you see

There's light for a look at the Savior

And life more abundant and free

His word shall not fail you he promised

Believe him and all will be well

Then go to a world that is dying

His perfect salvation to tell

Turn your eyes upon Jesus

Look full in his wonderful face

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim

In the light of his glory and grace”
